Revolutionising Food Pathogen Detection
Welcome to the future of food safety. Ceres Diagnostics is developing a transformative pathogen detection technology that delivers molecular precision and speed with breakthrough efficiency.
Why Food Safety Matters More Than Ever
The global food system faces unprecedented challenges. Over 200 foodborne diseases threaten public health across continents, causing millions of illnesses and billions in economic losses annually. From farm to fork, the complexity of modern supply chains amplifies vulnerability.
Early detection of pathogens such as Salmonella and Listeria is no longer optional—it's essential. The food industry confronts mounting regulatory scrutiny, reputational risks, and operational disruptions without reliable, rapid diagnostics that match the speed of today's marketplace.

A New Standard for Food & Environmental Testing
Revolutionary Technology
Ceres Intellectual Property allows it to detect the RNA of the target pathogen, without needing to amplify DNA like existing PCR-based molecular tests.
ELISA Form Factor
Enables exceptionally strong sensitivity and specificity in the assays, in a form factor which is easily adapted to different settings, including automating the assay in an ELISA-like process running on standard micro titre plates.
ReBu
Sample collection into a proprietary "ReBu" solution that degrades the cell walls of pathogens in a food sample and exposes RNA for detection
"Ceres Diagnostics is redefining the standards for pathogen detection in the food industry through innovation, precision, and reliability."
What This Means For Our Customers
Ceres Diagnostics accelerates response time, strengthens quality assurance, and integrates seamlessly into existing workflows.
Rapid Turnaround
16-22 hours time to result (Salmonella)
22-30 hours time to result (Listeria)
Cost Reduction
ELISA / Immunoassay test prices
Automation
Tests are highly automatable, increasing lab efficiency and lowering overall testing costs substantially at scale with existing lab workflows and automation platforms for easy adoption
